Neil Simon's update of his famous contemporary classic, (originally starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau), now for a group of women friends. After separating from her husband, Florence moves in with Olive.
Within days the apartment is clean, tidy and even sparkling as they try to make their living arrangement work, with boisterously entertaining results. Florence drives Olive nuts with her incessant need to be constantly cleaning and cooking while Olive drives Florence insane with her pigpen lifestyle. But Florence's obsessive habits start taking their toll on Olive and their friends. Even the fruit in the fruit bowl tastes of furniture polish! Desperate to try to give Florence another interest in life, Olive arranges a date with two dishy Spanish brothers, neighbours in the apartment block. . . . .
